2006 DODGE DURANGO HEMI 4WD SLT - One of a Kind Off-Road and Adventure Vehicle

This is a One of a Kind Military Style Power Wagon & WC53 Carryall Tribute "Military Style" Special Build- You won't see another one! Our sellers requested the design and build by Advanced Automotive Technologies (AAT) to create a military transport style vehicle.. AAT is a design and prototype company specializing in automotive products for the automotive OEM's and their suppliers. This aggressive looking 4 Wheel Drive is "Our version of a WC53 Carryall based on a late model Dodge Durango" (AAT). They started with a HEMI SLT version of the Durago Adventurer with very low mileage (the current mileage is only 54,600). The full design and build credit goes to AAT. Mechanically, it remains as it left the factory for easy maintenance and servicing. The 5.7-liter Hemi is rated at 335 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque. It can tow up to 8,950 pounds (with the optional 3.92 rear axle). The two-speed transfer case comes standard with the Hemi 4×4. The tire and wheel package includes the Falken WildPeak M/T's (LT285/70R17) on Fuel "Beast" Alloy Wheels. It has a BadLand ZXR 12,000 lb Winch mounted on the front and a 3,500 lb BadLand ATV Utility Winch on the rear. The Roof Rack Carrier Basket has Auxillary Front Lighting mounted. It is finished in U.S. Military Olive Drab Green paint and has the factory gray cloth interior. This is a "one of one" custom built vehicle that really stands out in the crowded SUV field. "2006 Dodge WC Carryall Conversion

One of the most iconic US military vehicles other than the Jeep was Dodge 3/4 ton WC series trucks designated "Weapons Carrier" They were built in serveral series as a truck, command car, ambulance, and personnel carryall. These vehicles are popular with collectors but for daily use they are not practical with outmoded suspension and powertrain.

This vehicle offers the upgraded look of the original but having modern suspension, Hemi power, and all the amenities of a modern vehicle. Effectively, the best of both worlds!

The conversion was designed and created by Steve Pasteiner and team at Advanced Automotive Technologies, known for the Buick Blackhawk, the Commemorative series Corvettes, the AAT Heldo, and many other design creations.

The changes include a total redesign of the front to duplicate the look of the WC carryall as well as the rear hatch and bumper design to include winches, front and rear LED lighting, redesign of fenders and rear quarters. The total work has approached nearly 1400 hours not to mention the cost of the vehicle $11,000 and parts and materials. The wheel and tire combination was $2200, winches $350, various lights $500, etc.

The vehicle was built for a long time friend so the hourly rate was reduced way under the norm, but at the going shop rate it would have cost well past the $100,000 mark.
