After living in California for 40 years, this 1966 Nova SS made its way back to Michigan to live the pampered life here. It is a well cared for example and has been in the same family for over 48 years! It is an Original Super Sport with the factory original 327 Cubic inch , 275 Horsepower engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The engine code stamp on the pad is FII03ZA noting a November 3rd build and the ZA Suffix for the 327 CID/275 HP 4-Speed. The cowl tag notes that this factory built SS (factory built Super Sport vin prefix 11837) and was built during the 3rd week of November at the Willow Run Assembly plant. It is the original factory color of Marina Blue with options to include Tinted Windshield, 4 speed transmission, Rear Seat Speaker, Deluxe Seat Belts and an aftermarket upgraded AM/FM Radio with Cassette player. The paint looks good overall with some imperfections due to age, it would be greatly improved with a nice detailing, buffing and wax. The undercarriage is very solid as noted in the images. Mechanically, there have been performance upgrades to include a Edelbrock Aluminum intake manifold, Performance Carburetor, and Headers.This Nova is really a great find as an original, very solid, factory built Nova SS 4 speed with the original 327/275 engine.
