PURCHASED OVER EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO BY OUR SELLER, THIS WELL PRESERVED '29 MODEL A ROADSTER APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN MAINTAINED AS “ORIGINAL” OVERALL, WITH MINOR COSMETIC AND MECHANICAL MODIFICATIONS NOTED. THE CURRENT PRESENTATION CONDITION IS SIMPLY, “DRIVE IT' AND ENJOY IT AT THE WEEKEND CAR SHOWS AND CRUISE EVENTS”. A 12 VOLT CONVERSION WAS COMPLETED AND ALL LAMPS/LIGHTING HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL 6 VOLT. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN KEPT IN GARAGE STORAGE WHEN NOT IN USE.

ACCESSORIES INCLUDE AFTERMARKET OIL AND VOLTAGE GAUGES, THE QUAIL RADIATOR CAP, AND THE RADIATOR CHROMED MESH SCREEN GUARD.

1929 Model A Roadster
“Remarkably well preserved Roadster hiding beneath a backyard restoration.
Without a doubt, multiple true car lovers cared for this car over the decades.  The photos show an older restoration and long term inside storage of a classic Model A Roadster.  With a thorough detailing anyone would be proud to drive this car every day.  
A closer inspection will convince you this is most likely a West Coast car never exposed to snow or salt and likely garage kept its entire life.  The hood, cowl, doors, quarter panels rumble seat and lid show no signs of panel replacement or significant repair.  The fenders, splash aprons and running boards have been replaced with high quality steel reproduction parts.  The convertible top bows are original as are the five wire wheels with newer tires.
Some time ago the frame, suspension and driveline were cleaned and painted along with the body and fenders.  The convertible top and stock upholstery are in better than average conditionwith many miles remaining.
At some point the engine was rebuilt.  It starts immediately and runs well.  The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts attesting to the car's overall dependability.  It appears this car was driven regularly and is ready to go again.
This car has been stored by a family member for years and is in need of deep cleaning and detailing.  The paint is worn from use in a few areas.  The passenger side door hinge needs adjusted or replacement.”
